Just what I needed : Pyle PLBASS8 8-Inch Super Slim Active Subwoofer
This did just what I wanted. I have very limited space in my truck and needed some low end help with my factory sound. The only concern is heat. I had to install a fan to keep the unit cool or it would power down after running for a bit. With fan no power loss at all. The amount of bass from a non ported enclosure is great, not gonna boom the car next to you at a light, but will add some lice low sounds to your tunes.
